Carmilla Peterson Bobmanuel (Dance 2003) Speaks to Students During Common ExperienceFebruary 7, 2023
Perpich alum, Carmilla Peterson Bobmanuel (Dance 2003), spoke with students during Common Ex on Monday, February 6th. Common Ex is a series of presentations where students hear about the artistic life from practicing artists, many of whom are Perpich graduates.
Carmilla’s presentation, titled “The Talented Entrepreneur”, was full of sage advice for the students. “If you don’t have a plan, life will take you wherever it does and that may not be where you want to go,” shared Bobmanuel. She encouraged students to plan for their lives after Perpich, including ongoing education, five and ten year goals, and not being afraid to ask for help. “Failure doesn’t exist. There is beauty in every mistake.”
